Luxury defined by place, not by marble
The Grove began with a stand of ancient trees on the Essipong shoreline and a simple conviction: that Ghana deserved a resort where five-star service, a serious kitchen and genuine West African hospitality could exist without imitation of anywhere else.
Today the estate holds fifty-three rooms and suites, five dining venues, a spa, a lagoon, a canopy walkway and a mini zoo — all a twenty-minute drive from Takoradi Airport, and all run by a team of over one hundred Ghanaians who take real pride in this coastline.

Quietly responsible
We buy produce, fish and craft from the Essipong and Sekondi-Takoradi communities. Our grounds are chemical-light and deliberately wooded; the grove, mangrove shoreline and lagoon are managed as habitat, not landscaping. Waste is segregated on site, and every building on the estate runs on LED and motion-aware lighting.
